The Pledge Wall below shows the personal messages from vegans who have taken the Vegan Pledge.
I love animals, and don't need any on my plate.
Animals are not here for our enjoyment or to be exploited. Compassion and empathy towards ALL animals is everything to me. From what I see so often, I'm ashamed to be human.
Vegan for them, for life!
I am vegan thru and thru, I pledge to continue this beautiful loving way of life and will continue to do so in my lifetime here on earth.
Like many others, I am horrified by the brutal conditions farm animals are kept in. It is unnecessary and I pledge that I will never again support any industry that kills innocent sentient beings.
Vegan for animals and intersectional social justice.
Vegan for life!
To put it simply, it's about caring for every creature on earth by understanding their place in this world as we would care for a loved one. It's about practicing what's right.
I became vegan many years ago because the thought of killing an animal just to eat their flesh repulsed me. The unexpected benefits have been amazing, not withstanding the most delicious meals I have ever eaten.
Animal rights and welfare.
No animal has to die for us to lead happy, healthy lives. Being vegan has enriched my life in ways meat eating never did.
These gentle animals only know suffering. We gather the most docile animals, pull apart their bodies and talk about how delicious they taste. Animal testing, duck shooting, fishing. These are sentient beings, that's why being vegan is important. Empathy.
Veganism is to love and be kind to all living things - because we all are one! We are connected! All lives matter.
I pledge that no decision I make in my life will cause the use, abuse or death of an animal. Any animal.
Being vegan is important for the world.
I pledge to put innocent lives over greed, murder, torture and cruelty.
Animals are not to be exploited. The way humans use and abuse animals is disgusting.
Vegan for the animals and the environment, forever!
Meat is unnecessary.
For the animals.
Animals are not here for us to use and abuse for human benefit. They're creatures who feel fear and pain and joy and happiness and they all deserve better!
I pledge to be vegan for life and do all I can to advocate for veganism and support others to go vegan and stay vegan for life too!

Veganism is the only justice movement the animals have.
Vegan almost a decade now.

I see and hear so many horrific things that animals go through. I cannot be one of those people who eat these poor animals. Let them live with us not for us.
As a vegan, I strive to act thoughtfully and consciously to show loving kindness to all sentient beings.
Animals all deserve to live a full life.
I love animals and don't want to harm them or contribute to their exploitation. Also the environmental benefits are important to me. Being vegan aligns with my values.
Being vegan is important to me for the animals and the planet.
Animal abuse is wrong, so wrong, animals' lives matter, exploiting animals for taste, clothing or profit is immoral. l am a proud vegan and will continue to stand up for innocent animals always!
Being vegan is important to me because of improvement in environment.
For the animals. For the Earth. For peace.
I pledge to continue my vegan lifestyle to protect all beings, large and small.

So sorry I didn't become began sooner and vegan for the animals first and foremost.
My lung capacity improved from 42% to 56% in 3 months of eating vegan, no other lifestyle changes. I was honestly surprised by my result, bonus health benefits with everything else that this tender loving earth lifestyle provides.
I have been vegan for 10 years and will always and forever remain vegan. I refuse to support any form of animal exploitation or cruelty. My planned humanitarian animal projects will come to fruition as soon as I am funded.
May life treat us the way we treat animals. Eat plants, choose love.
Vegan for the animals!!!

The kindest thing I can do for all living creatures and our planet is to live a vegan lifestyle.
I pledge to never support or fund the exploitation of the voiceless. Protect the innocent.
If you can love the dog sitting on your lap, is it really so hard to love the pig sitting on your plate too? I called myself an animal lover while contributing to the mass slaughter of billions of animals globally, I'm vegan now and hope to never look back.
Live a life unapologetically vegan, to support and guide veganism to as many people across Australia and the world!

Vegan for the planet
Vegan for life. For the animals.

For an equitable, sustainable, vibrant world for all, just as nature intended.
Because I don't want to hurt anyone.
Vegan for the planet and the animals and for life.
I vow to be vegan, to honour and respect all life forms and to raise awareness for the sanctity and preciousness of all life. I believe that if our parents showed us where and how our food was made, we would have chosen to be vegan at a very young age.
Veganism is a moral baseline. If you are not vegan you are deliberately exploiting animals and that is wrong, just as slavery is wrong for humans. Animals are here with us, not for us.
These animals trust us with their hearts, we shouldn't take their lives.
Vegan for life.
To stop animal suffering - we have no right to inflict pain and death on other living creatures.
I pledge to never again use or consume animal products. And to consider animals and the planet in all my future choices.

If everyone could see the immense suffering that occurs to animals when they are bred, raised, transported and slaughtered for the purposes of human consumption, I'm sure many more people would be vegan.
Being vegan is important to me because I have realised this earth only survives when we think in terms of others, not simply ourselves. I want to, and have done so for over a decade, continue to save as many lives from cruelty as possible and save the planet in the process.
