Role: Research specific topics for publication by Vegan Australia or for submission to inquiries, including updating existing research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to determine suitable topics that interest you.
• Write and edit articles and submissions.
• Ensure consistency of values and voice across all written content.
• Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Requirements:

• Commitment to the mission and values of Vegan Australia
• Strong writing and editing skills to produce compelling, clear and persuasive material
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Suggested topics:

• Research into the impact of a 100% vegan agricultural system on the Australian economy, jobs, environment, health, etc. See our articles on a vegan agricultural system, which include a list of questions for future research.
• Research into animal agriculture and the environment
• Submissions to government inquiries
• Responses to current media items
• Write a vegan angle for upcoming "days", such as World Environment Day
