Assist preparing Vegan Education in Schools resources

Role: To work under the direction of the Vegan Education in Schools program manager to assist in preparing lesson plans, videos and other materials, classroom resources, worksheets, student activities and other teaching aids.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve program goals

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, carefully and meet deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of veganism and commitment to the mission of Vegan Australia
  • Experience in school education an advantage

These resources provide teachers with the information and tools they need to deliver lessons that encourage students to think critically about animals and our relationships with them. They help students learn the truth about animal exploitation and animal rights and encourage ethical and critical thinking.
