Today is the 22nd annual World Vegan Day.
This is a monumental day in the vegan calendar.
A day where vegans unite in social gatherings around the world and others are encouraged to start their journey of a cruelty-free life.
Of course, every individual who chooses to go vegan makes a positive impact on the planet.
However, over 259 million animals will still be killed on this day. Their deaths will mostly go unnoticed, the fact that they ever existed will soon be forgotten.
This is why we not only urge people to go vegan on November 1st, but we urge them to unite with existing vegans to join together and become activists.
To not be closet vegans and passively accept the injustices that others around you cause.
To stand up and be the voice for the voiceless, to bear witness to their suffering and show compassion before they are killed, to share their story and let the world know that each individual was someone and not something.
It is our moral duty to bear witness to their suffering, to create change with the utmost urgency.
Please join us on November 1st, where save groups throughout the world will be united as one and will collectively bear witness to those who need it most.
