Vegan Australia campaigns for a vegan world in a variety of ways. We do this because different people respond to different kinds of campaign and messages. While the details of each campaign may differ, they all support our vision of "a world in which people treat animals with respect, ensure justice for them and enable them to live their lives free of human exploitation, use and ownership."

Free vegan sausages for your next BBQ fundraiser or educational event! Whether you're an animal sanctuary, a sports team, university or school - we want to help make vegan sausages the star of your next BBQ event.

Take the pledge

Vegan Australia is encouraging all vegans in Australia to stand up and BE COUNTED. Take the Vegan Pledge to show that you are part of a growing vegan social movement striving for a more just world.

Submissions to inquiries

To help promote veganism as mainstream, Vegan Australia lobbies governments by making submissions to inquiries ranging from animal issues to the environment, education and health. We always encourage involvement from our supporters in these public consultations. Below are some of the submissions we have made recently.

Vegan product certification

The Vegan Australia Certified program sets the standard for authentic vegan food and products in Australia. The logo indicates that the product does not contain animal ingredients and none of the manufacturing or testing processes involve animals or animal products
